• Attention and concentration difficulties are very common in school-aged children.They may be day-dreaming or staring out the window at home or in class, or they may be disruptive, unable to complete their work and struggling with their learning.
• So how do you know if your child is having attention and concentration difficulties, and what should you look for?

• An inability to sit still
• Is easily distracted
• Has problems following instructions
• Has difficulty completing school work
• Has poor handwriting compared to other children of the same age

• Is experiencing learning difficulties
• Displays behavioral difficulties such as aggression, moodiness or irritability
• Experiences friendship issues, such as difficulty making and keeping friends
• Shows clumsiness or poor gross motor skills, such as running or jumping

• Young children who cannot talk yet will let you know when something is wrong by acting fussy or irritable. If your child is fussier than usual, it could be a sign that something is wrong..Babies are often very fussy when they are going through growth spurts.
• It is normal for children to get fussy or whiny sometimes. There are lots of reasons why children get fussy Lack of sleep , Frustration , Fight with a sibling , Being too hot or too cold , Hunger.
• Your child also may be worried about something. Ask yourself if there has been stress, sadness, or anger in your home. Young children are sensitive to stress at home, and to the mood of their parents or caregivers.
• Many common childhood illnesses can cause a child to be crankiness

• Ear infection
• Teething / Toothache / Dentition
• combined with handful of model sentence.
• Cold or flu
• Bladder infection

• Stomach pain or stomach flu
• Headache
• Constipation
• Anemia (low blood count)
• Pinworm

• In early months babies can’t fight viruses or bacteria beacuse there immune system is not mature and they fall sick frequently due to a lack of, or dysfunction of white blood cells, which have important roles in fighting infections.
• Kids with weak immunity can tire easily, not feel hungry, have body aches, and keep falling sick very often. When a baby is born, it is more susceptible to colds and other infections because its immune system is still developing. Before birth, babies get protection from their moms through the placenta.
• A virus that can cause a simple cold in grownups or an older child can have more serious effects in a baby or a newborn.This is the reason it is very important to strengthen their immune system.
• How do you know if your child has a weak immune system?

• Autoimmune disorders.
• Inflammation of the internal organs.
• Blood disorders or abnormalities, such as anemia.
• Digestive issues, including loss of appetite, diarrhea, and abdominal cramping.
• Growth and developmental delays in infants and children.

• Once called mental retardation, is characterized by below-average intelligence or mental ability and a lack of skills necessary for day-to-day living.People with intellectual disabilities can and do learn new skills, but they learn them more slowly.There are varying degrees of intellectual disability, from mild to profound.
• Someone with intellectual disability has limitations in two areas. These areas are:
• Intellectual functioning-also known as IQ, this refers to a person’s ability to learn, reason, make decisions, and solve problems.
• Adaptive behaviors-These are skills necessary for day-to-day life, such as being able to communicate effectively, interact with others, and take care of oneself.

• Genetic conditions
• Problems during pregnancy - alcohol or drug use, malnutrition, certain infections, or pre - eclampsia.
• Problems during childbirth - deprived of oxygen during childbirth or born extremely premature.
• Illness or injury -Severe head injury, near-drowning, extreme malnutrition, infections in the brain, exposure to toxic substances .

• Children younger than 8 may not be able to differentiate between stomach pain and the kind of pain that warrant urgent medical attention.
• Many kids hold their bowels at school, as they are uncomfortable going in such a busy, public setting. Others rush out the door in the morning, still half-asleep, not giving their bowel a chance to empty. Constipation can limit their activity and life enjoyment by triggering regular stomach pains, making it uncomfortable to run and play, initiating embarrassing gas, and messing with their meal intake, overall nutrition and daily energy.

Signs include

• Hard, dry stools that are painful or difficult to pass
• Days without a bowel movement
• Gas and Abdominal pain
• Poor appetite , Crankiness
• Frequent peeing or bed-wetting, as a large mass can put pressure on the bladder.
• Recurring urinary tract infections & Soiled underwear
• A typical Western diet including lots of cheese, pasta, bread, pizza, chicken nuggets and other foods that lack fiber

Causes include

• Lack of water
• Lack of exercise
• Withholding: when kids do not go when they need to
• Certain medications
• Illnesses
• Anxiety
• Changes in routine
• Magnesium deficiency

• Worm infestations happen when worms affect the intestines and other parts of the body. There are different types of intestinal worms that can cause worm infections, but the most common are tapeworms, roundworms, pinworms or threadworms and hookworms. Worm infestations and related infections are common in children and are also easily treated.

• Coming in contact with an infected surface such as soil containing eggs or germs at a playground or touching pets infected with worms
• Consuming infected food or water
• Improper hygiene
• Inadequate hand washing
