• Cervical spondylosis is a common, age-related condition that affects the joints and discs in your cervical spine, in neck region. It’s also known as cervical osteoarthritis or neck arthritis.It develops from the wear and tear of cartilage and bones.
• Common symptoms are pain & stiffness in neck , pain around the shoulder blade. Some people complain of pain along the arm and in the fingers, loss of balance , dizziness , nausea etc.
• common signs include
• 1. A stiff neck that becomes worse.
• 2. Headaches that mostly occur in the back of the head.
• 3. Tingling or numbness that mainly affects the shoulders and arms, although it can also occur in the legs.
• 4. Work-related activities that put extra strain on your neck can affect it.

• A joint is where two or more bones come together like knee, hip, elbow , shoulder. Any damage to the joints from disease or injury can interfere with your movement and cause a lot of pain.
• Symptoms can be Joint pain (may range from a mild ache to a severe) , burning or sharp sensation in one or several joints, swelling and stiffness, overlying red and warm skin. Sometime with pain fatigue, weight loss, or fever also present.
• There are a number of different reasons of having joint pain.

• Arthritis - inflammation of a joint. It causes pain, stiffness, and swelling. Over time, the joint can become severely damaged.
• Bursitis - inflammation of a fluid-filled sac that cushions the joint.
• Dislocations - injuries that force the ends of the bones out of position.
• Osteoarthritis – it is the "wear-and-tear" form that increases with age
• Rheumatoid arthritis - It is an autoimmune condition affect the lining of the joints.
• Spondyloarthritis - involves inflammation in the spine , Psoriatic arthritis, which is associated with the skin condition psoriasis, tends to affect the joints of the hands and feet.
• Juvenile idiopathic arthritis - In which the child's immune system attacks the body's own healthy tissue.
• Gout - affects the joint connecting the big toe to the rest of the foot. In gout, cause is excess uric acid .
• Bursitis - inflammation of the small, fluid-filled sacs called bursae.
• Osteoporosis - One of the most prevalent bone conditions, osteoporosis involves bone loss, leading to weakened bones that are more likely to break.
• Metabolic bone diseases - These are disorders of bone strength caused by mineral or vitamin deficiencies (such as vitamin D, calcium or phosphorus) that result in abnormal bone mass or structure. Osteomalacia (softening of the bones), hyperparathyroidism.
• Fracture - Acute fractures are usually due to trauma, although they can be related to bone cancer.

• "Numbness" & Tingling can be describe as various symptoms, including loss of sensation, abnormal sensations, and weakness or paralysis. However, numbness is actually loss of sensation, either partial or complete.
• Numbness may involve the 3 major sensory modalities to the same or different degrees
• 1. Light touch
• 2. Pain and temperature sensation
• 3. Position and vibration sensation
• Numbness is often accompanied by abnormal sensations of tingling (pins-and-needles) unrelated to a sensory stimulus (paresthesias). Other manifestations (eg, pain, extremity weakness, nonsensory cranial nerve dysfunction) may also be present depending on the cause.
• Adverse effects of chronic numbness include:
• 1. Difficulty walking and driving
• 2. Increased risk of falls

• Lack of blood supply to an area
• Shingles or herpes zoster infection
• Other infections such as HIV/AIDS, leprosy, syphilis, or tuberculosis
• Abnormal levels of calcium, potassium, or sodium
• Pressure on the nerves of the spine, such as from a herniated disk
• Deficiency of B vitamins such as B1, B6, B12, or folic acid
• Sitting or standing in the same position for a long time

• Radiation therapy
• Use of certain medicines
• Carpal tunnel syndrome

• Seizures

• Trembling is a common movement disorder. An involuntary, rhythmic muscle contraction causes the shaking. Tremors are most common in the hands, but they can also occur in the arms, head, vocal cords, torso, and legs.
• Most people have a slight tremor in the hands, and it may be especially noticeable when holding the hands straight out in front of the body.
• Anxiety and worry are emotions everyone feels at some point. When your body is subjected to stress, it goes into fight-or-flight mode. Stress hormones flood your body and speed up your heart rate, blood pressure, and your breathing. Your muscles become primed to act, leading to a trembling sensation, twitching, or shaking. Tremors caused by anxiety are called psychogenic tremors.
